Zachariah O'Loughlin

Zachariah O'Loughlin (or just, Zach On Drums, if you can't remember all that) is a UK based session drummer and music producer. Joining his first touring band at just 12 years of age, Zach acquired a natural flare for gigging and performance. In 2015, he set off to Falmouth University, Cornwall to study Music Technology. It was here where he spent years working closely with fellow creatives and industry professionals alike, honing the skills necessary to make a living working in music. 

 

In 2020, he combined his music production and drumming skills to release 1000s of self-made, royalty-free drum samples and loops independently. Focussing on ensuring each loop came with completely isolated drum stems, for complete user control, Zach still updates his sample and loop store to this day.

Zach began picking up session playing gigs and teaching private drum lessons in 2021, while working full-time as a music publicist. Over the years, he built up a roster of bands, artists and singer/songwriters who trust him to provide quality performances for tours and one-off shows alike. After being invited to join bands such as Wille & The Bandits, Webmoms as well as solo artists such as Will Eason & Essy Sparrow, Zach clearly established himself as a super adaptive, versatile and friendly musician in the South West UK scene.

 

From 2025 onwards, Zach began working full-time as a touring session drummer, drum teacher and remote recording artist. After completing 4 European tours in his first year alone, amounting to 129 gigs total, Zach is looking onwards and upwards to provide more quality drum performances for artists across the world.
